When I mean life update, I mean life update.
I haven't posted since last summer. I haven't even posted any ART. Okay, so my pen tablet thing broke down. It just won't stop drawing. I must get a Bamboo or whatever WACOM has next...saw it on sale in London Drugs...
Okay, so what's new? School is ok, except with tests. I mean, like, school itself is pretty interesting, but tests bleh

I'm in this cool creative writing course and we virtually have hardly any homework except write cool stuff. Today's journal prompt was "If I was the opposite gender". I was like...if I was a guy, I'd get a cool new spiky, highlighted hairstyle and dress all punk..." Erm, you get the idea.
Speaking of punk, I'm like, immersed in Visual-kei right now, especially the GazettE. I love the GazettE. This band is so awesome I'm falling in love with them just mentioning them. Okay, maybe I'm going a bit overboard but really, they're genius. When you think of goth music, you think of people screaming bloody murder, but GazettE stuff is like...sophisticated, man. The music is so hard to play and there songs go to seven minutes long. Sort of mirroring classical music, eh? Well, my anime interest has gone down, replaced by total GazettE-ness. I recommend "Cassis", "Bath Room", "Miseinen", "Filth in the Beauty", "Burial Applicant", and the solo from "Reila". If you don't know what Visual-kei is, shame on you!! Just kiddin'...it's, like, the Japanese version of punk and goth rock, but it's kinda different. Visual-kei dressers have flamboyant, sometimes feminine looks, but their music is heavy, hard-driving, emotional, and not all that yelly yelly (sometimes yeah) but their ballads are so nice...
Okay, enough with the V-kei-ing. Some of my pals and I have formed a band, yipee! We're still looking for a drummer and right now we're practicing in someone's basement. So far we have a bassist/vocals, and two guitarists. I'm lead for our first song, yay~~~
Yeah, e-guitar is super fun too. Finally feel like a J-rocker!!
Damn, history exam is coming up...I mean MUSIC HISTORY EXAM. Gotta memorize Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic, and Twentieth-Century characteristics and songs and composers from 'em. I probably shouldn't be typing this 'cause I gotta study. SO ANNOYING!!
Hmm, what else? I'm still torn between Q.F.I and "Kazjavik", this other book I'm writing. QFI is just one, but "Kazjavik" can have a prequel and a sequel. I wonder which one? Suggestions, please~~
